Alain Provost began his career as a painter in March 2016.
Provost has accumulated 28 years at Radio-Canada. He is a computer graphics designer for special projects for general television (galas, elections, soap operas, Olympics, documentaries, etc.)
He is entrusted with the artistic direction, production and design of most of his mandates. He develops scenarios, draws storyboards, works jointly with different departments (music studio, makeup, costumes, accessories, etc.), takes care of auditions with casting agencies, manages the set of his productions and is responsible for motion design.
For 2 years he will also be a designer and director of special effects for the documentaries on The History of Canada and The Pride of a People.
Alain Provost is passionate about visual arts and his career is full of success. His creations have earned, in addition to five Gémeaux prizes, several international recognitions, which makes him the winner of nearly fifty prestigious prizes. Consecutively, in 2002 and 2003, not only was he awarded the “Quantel Artist of the Year for North America” prize, but he also won the coveted one: that of all continents. He will receive the award in Los Angeles from hosts Jann Carl and Mark Steines of Entertainment Tonight in front of an audience of 4,000 people. More on Alain Provost
