Sante D'Orazio (American, b. 1956)
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sante D'Orazio began his career working for Italian Vogue in 1981, eventually becoming noticed by Andy Warhol's Interview magazine. Since then, D'Orazio's work has been featured in Vanity Fair, GQ, Playboy and Vogue; he has photographed celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera and Pamela Anderson. His alluring world of Hollywood and fashion often depict actresses and supermodels in various stages of undress, exploring sensuality and fame in present-day society. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries, including Anonymous Gallery/Collective Hardware, New York; the Los Angeles County Museum; the Cameraworks Gallery, Berlin; and the Hilario Galguera Gallery, Mexico City.
